  • JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Location : Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh,Gujarat(1 position each)

  • Strategies the business goals and implement the approach plan for overachievement.
  • Finalize the quarterly sales plan & marketing programs well in advance with the RSM for his area.
  • Core responsibility would be over achieving the Area sales target in his area.
  • To appoint & retain a high morale sales team (salesman & Promoters) his area.
  • Responsible for channel expansion, channel management, sales team management in his area.
  • Direct handling of National & Regional Large Format Retailers.
  • All management reports to be filled and forwarded on time as per the company formats for his area to Regional Sales Manager.
  • Competition updates to Management - Weekly Price map / Market + Channel activities.
  • Daily review of Salesman (FOS) / Promoters on their KRA's.
  • Identifying the areas of improvement and key business growth areas.
  • Ensure good Product Displays & brand visibility in all our target / focus outlets
  • Initiate & forward Sales / Marketing proposals to the management for the necessary approval.
  • Launching of management approved Schemes / Promotions / Price Revisions/ New products in his area.
  • Regular visit of Channel Partners / Key Accounts / Corporate Customers / Outlets in his area.
  • Conduct Business Review Meetings with all channel partners on quarterly basis for his area.
  • Settlement of channel Partner claims / issues on time for his area.
  • Facilitating the after sales service operations for the area
  • Co-ordinate with National distributor's Area office for supply chain operations.
  • Processing Salesman (FOS) / Promoter's sales incentive claims.

  • PRE-REQUISITIES

  • An Area Sales Manager should have experience of 5 + years in consumer electronics sales field.
  • An ASM should be working in the similar capacity for at least 2 years and currently leading a sales team.
  • An ASM can be any graduate with MBA or equivalent in marketing from a Premier Business School (preferably but not necessary).
  • Computer Skills - Expert in Office & report writing.
